Happy New Year!

So, this was supposed to be my 'break' from school, but I haven't had much time off. I ended up at two VERY LONG births and two medium long births. I guess I ended up with 3 for December and 1 for January. Unfortunately, the last one went from Thursday at eleven to Saturday at noon. Tired is only the beginning of the way I feel.

However, I did get some time to study my textbook for Community Health, which is the course that I am taking next week. It's a 9 day intensive. Six hours a day, starts on Monday and I have a midterm on Friday. Then next week we have 3 classes and a final. Phew!

I also got the grade for the last final I took from last semester. I got an 'A'. So as far as I can figure I have 3 'A-' and 2 'A'. I should get a B+ for my clinical (hate that!) and a Pass for the pass/fail lab. Still, I haven't seen the grades yet.

I'm looking forward to school ONLY in that it may be a little less crazy than work. I was hoping for more of a break. HA HA HA HA!!!!

I have two home visits tomorrow and my friend Kim will be here to visit. Busy is just scratching the surface.

I did read a couple of books over the break, which was nice, but I'll have to stop that as soon as classes start again. I'm not sure yet if I will be starting clinical at Georgetown Hospital or Sibley. I'll keep the blog posted.
