We have been asked to select our first choice for the next session, which begins the last week on May and goes through June. I requested the first session (A) as my preceptorship. However, I might not get it. I figure it would be better for me to be working full time (that is what the preceptorship involves) while the kids are still in school than in July. I will still have classes in July, but they will only be three times a week.

Okay, this is really distracting. The cat, Holly, is watching the type appear in the text box as I type. She is eyeing the cursor as it moves across the screen. I'm typing on a flat screen monitor and she is trying to reach behind the screen to 'catch' the thing that is making the type appear. Now she is walkguiogp across the keyboard sldkjf. I kid you not. She is on the right side, now the left. What is wiethophd with her? Oh good, she is sitting on the printer now. Guarding the computer from gremlins, I guess.

Where was I? Totally distracted by the cat!!!

Ah, she is back again. Seriously she is putting her head in the way I can't see the screeen.

Okay, maybe she is gone this time. I wonder if it's the red type that is attracting her?

Anyway, I am supposed to be in school all summer, but I don't have the community clinical, which would be the session B (or the opposite). I've also asked for maternity/postpartum/newborn as my assignment. Yes, I could do the emergency room or the ICU or whatever, but I don't want to work any harder than I have to at this point.

Now Holly has gotten herself stuck with a Post It note. She is seriously trying to figure out why this small piece of paper is following her! I suppose I will rescue her! :-)

I like dogs, but I love cats. Not so needy, but plenty affectionate if treated right.

We lost our Cisco in July after a brief illness. She was 18 and very sweet. We found Dolce in December and she's working out fine.
