So, my update is that we are trying to get my son out of jail today. We need to pay the attorney $2,500 for a retainer before they will take to us, and this is the recommended lady! My son has sounded very repentant over the phone and he seems to realize that he doesn't want to end up in that place for life, so he is willing to grow up a bit now. Whatever it takes! Why did he have to do it the hard way??? But the financial costs are very high. I just got off the phone with the attorney, so I guess I just spent that money.
I'm very aware that I'm at a weak spot in my life and in my school. It's very hard for me being in this clinical. Mostly because I know I can't trust the teacher. She is very unpredictable. Comes across all sweet, but I know she can be cruel. She has kicked out a couple of friends of mine (and it was her discretion to kick them out, they could have stayed).
I did accept the L&D position at Reston Hospital for July for my preceptorship. I wanted to work in June, but that wasn't available. I'm in for July now and hopefully it will work out okay with all the births. After that I will be mostly done.
Get through April (GTA) that's the key focus and word to the wise.

Hey, Audrey -- praying for your through all this craziness.... I would SOOOO be keeping a ledger with all these expenditures, and make it your son's responsibility to pay these back. There's some SERIOUS maturing that needs to happen here, and he needs to realize that his shenanigans come with a pretty hefty price tag -- and it shouldn't be YOURS to pay!! Love ya, gal -- hoping you're not stressing out too badly over all of this.......
