These are my clinical hours for July.

Kathy and Deborah are my preceptors, the RN's who will mentor me while in L&D during my stay at Reston Hospital. I've met Kathy already, and she is supposed to be a wonderful teacher. I hope so. I don't know Deborah, but I hope she will be just a nice to work with. There is a 'blitz' on the 27th where we learn all the stuff we will be required to do paperwork wise and what we are restricted from doing. I will also have meetings (called IBS, I have no idea what that stands for!) with my professor. They are supposed to take about 30 hours for the month. The total will be 214 hours, if I counted correctly. Minimum necessary is 180 on the floor (in the hospital) and 210 total for the "class".
