I was very disappointed yesterday because 'my' sweet homebirth client went into labor on the one FULL day of classes when I couldn't attend the birth. And, of course, she barely had any labor and popped out a baby 90 minutes after the midwife and birth team got there. I am so BUMMED!!! But happy for her. She promised to have the next one when I could attend. I hope so!
Today I did the home visit for her. Not nearly as much fun, but at least I got to see the baby this time.
School.....
Okay, I officially hate school. I hate getting up so early and going to the hospital to see what they do to people and then have to come home and write about it. I hate studying stuff that I should know, but I doubt myself on. I hate needing to buy things for classes that were not required, and paying for books that I never needed or used. I hate that sometimes they treat us like children. (um, okay, I might have liked this when I was still in my twenties, but I doubt it seriously. I hate it at my age and stage.)
I hate being in school again.
