On the Eve of May

Last day in the month, WOW! Now that was something. I'm wiped out. I slept for 12 hours last night (maybe the night before with only 2 hours wasn't such a good idea?)....

I'm feeling okay about today. I took the HESI test, which is supposed to be a predictor of how well we will do on the NCLEX test (due to take that in September). I needed an 850 to pass and I got a 960. Which isn't so bad if it was out of, say 1000, or maybe 1200. But no, it's out os 1500!!! You are right that is like a 64, if you were making it a percentage grade. But I only needed a 54% to pass. What does this say about the test??? Anyway, I really did think I did too well, so I'm glad I did as well as 960. This means that the summer class for NCLEX prep is now optional for me. Yipee! I may stop by and sit in on the class but I DON'T HAVE TO. :0) and I don't have to pay $$ for $$ it $$.

Oh, and B's court date has been postponed until July. So far, so good. Now I just need to find insurance for my car since they are dropping me. Maybe if the lawyer can get some of the charges reduced or dropped we can find someone who will insure us?

Tomorrow, May 1st, is the LAST DAY at Children's National Medical Center. Yeah BIG TIME. I have NO idea how I am doing, but if I was failing, I would know about it by now. I think I screwed up on Tuesday (of course by accident) but if she chooses to overlook it, then I will be okay. If not, well, then I'm in for it. I walked down the wrong hall. Really, that was it. But it's enough to set her off if she wants to be upset. Pray that she will balance everything out and not use that against me. (I was with a nurse who was 'walking' a patient who needed help to find his room again. A 14 yo boy how was developmentally delayed and no happy being in a room by himself.) Oh well. Most of what I do wrong is stuff I didn't know I couldn't do in the first place. Gggggggs. I'm over 40, I think I walk down the hall without causing a problem. GMAB!

Tomorrow I have my concept map presentation and then I have until Monday morning to turn it in. I also have all the finals next week and then OFF.
