This week

Things I need to get done this week...

Turn in a self eval on Monday the 16th...Turn in the final copy of my position paper (40% of the final grade) for Nurs465 on Wed, June 18th. That's the last day of class and then I'm done, done, done with classroom work for this course! Can you see the grin? :-)

On the 20th we go see RR, the intended, graduate from his Ceremonial Guardsman training at the Naval Yard in DC in the morning and I have lab in the afternoon where I try to stick a fellow student with an IV. I'm thinking of opting for the manikin arm.

Saturday is the engagement party at Grama's house. Meet the future in-laws and such. I'm not sure what I am to them.... RR called me "mom" on the phone the other day. That was a new experience! I'm not sure about all this. But I do like him, and if anyone is going to call me 'mom' I guess I can handle it from him.

Next week is a pretty light week for me as far as school goes... The Blitz in the morning of the 27th and then final checkout in the afternoon. Last lab! I've posted the schedule after that for July.

The end is in sight. The finish line. The victory tape....

Study for the NCLEX is the final thing I'm doing along with working for July. I don't think I can take the test until early September, but they say to read 50 study questions a day. I'm okay with that. I've done it twice now, once durning N's 6th grade graduation and then again during the rain delay at yesterday's soccer game (an hour!).

The big thing this week then is this: CLEAN THE HOUSE!!!! Sure, come over and help me if you dare. :-O
