Rings and things

Neve left me a text message this morning saying that her husband had lost his ring in the community pool last night. Hmmmm. Was this AFTER it closed? I wonder. Anyway, I guess his ring is a little loose and it fell off in the pool. Sooooooooo, we had to go and see if we could find it. We did, and I gave it back to them. RR was in the 4th of July Parade in DC all morning, but they came out in the last afternoon and picked up stuff and then drove to PA for a wedding of a friend. Such is the life!

I think they may have found a townhouse to rent in Fairlington. It's a nice area, so I hope it works out for them. Maybe next week they will move out? Not the I see them much.

I fell asleep at the pool today. This was the first time I've been all summer. I suppose the getting to bed at 1 AM and getting up at 5:30 AM may have been the reason I fell asleep. I got a little sun, maybe a tad too much. I ended up taking a nap at home later in the day (hence the reason I'm up now, at 2 AM). So my sleep schedule is a bit off. :-(

I did get a potentiall in labor call from a client in Silver Spring, MD. It's 39 miles from my house. Not my favorite drive, but if she goes into labor, I'm on call for the weekend. My next obligation is a home visit later today in Woodbridge and church in the morning on Sunday. Sunday evening I have a two hour meeting with my group from the nursing preceptorship class. I don't have any assignments, so I just need to turn in my journal. Not too much this weekend. Yeah.

On Monday and Tuesday I have 12 hour shifts. Bummer. Oh well, the count is down to 148 hours. Each week it will be smaller.

I'm thinking working is better when you get paid, but maybe that's just me! :-)
