In a Million Years

This was in my email from school this morning. I have not edited it or changed a thing!

Was the only one that thought the 309 exam was excruciating even with open notes and book? I don't think I did so well.

To make my depression even greater check this out: One of my classmates (Jackie) was consoling me after the 309 exam and said that I shouldn't feel bad because it's probably been a MILLION YEARS since I last took an exam and that I should stick it out because it would be comforting to patients to have me as a nurse because I look like I've been doing it for a MILLION YEARS.

I realize I haven't much sleep since this program started and that I'm aging like a friggin' banana but what a blow to my already soft ego. Between my inadequant preparation for this exam and jackie's consoling comments, I feel like taking rusty razor blades to main artery (don't ask me which one...I'd probably screw up the answer).

I guess I need to get back to work so I can pass, become an RN, and get a job with a plastic surgeon so I can afford a facelift, lipo, and collagen injections, botox, and laser resurfacing!

That has to make YOU feel a LOT better about being a 'mature' student!
