October already???

I vaguely remember when I had time to think about things other than nursing school. It wasn't that long ago, but it seems like a different lifetime. Oh yeah, it was! LOL

I find that I'm doing a little better this week than I was a couple of weeks ago, thank God! And I mean that literally. I asked some people to pray for me, and I think they are...strike that, I KNOW they are. Things are going a little better. Still, by Wednesday evening I'm very tired for the week, but I still have to get up at 4:45 on Thursday mornings to get out of the house by 5:45 and in the hospital by 6:30 AM. Then back to the house to change out of my scrubs (read: uniform of a student!) and then to a lab on campus for the next couple of hours. And Friday I'm up again and out of the house by 7:30 (my late morning!)

Yeah for this weekend, as I will have an 'extra' day. Not really. I'm on call for the weekend and I have tons of homework I'm going to try and get done for Tuesday. I do have a midterm in Research that is on Wednesday next week, so I guess I need to read the book? and maybe study my notes. And I have an online ATI test to take for Peds (I get three tries to get a 90 or better). That one is due to the teacher by the 10th (um, that's next Tuesday, right?)

At least we don't have clinicals next Tuesday. :-) Something to be mildly thankful for.

Tomorrow we start Maternal-Newborn Nursing. I better get an A in that class!!! That's all I'm going to say about that.

Dear Hubby has an interview tomorrow in the morning. Maybe something will work out? It better soon, as we owe the IRS something like 10K. Strange, as we have NO income to speak of. Oh well. It won't help to worry about it.
