Week what?

Can it be the November is almost here? I'm in shock when I think about how fast the year is coming to a close. The good news is that these particular classes will soon be done! Yeah! The bad news is that more classes are to come.

I'm still not sure if I really want to be a nurse! Uh oh. I do like much of the work, and I like births, but there are times I just want to sleep!

Like today, when I got home at 7:30 AM and just went to bed instead of taking a shower and heading off to church. I felt bad about my choice, but I will have very few births left for this year, so I'm not feeling THAT badly! And it would not have been wise for me to drive. However, I also missed J's soccer game (won 5-2) which is a bummer. I would have liked to see the game if I was going to skip church, but if I was awake, I would have gone to church.

Oh well. The baby was born just fine and I'm glad I made it to the birth. I'm a little bummed that I missed the birth during the week (well, everyone missed that one!) When they are fast, fast, fast I wish I was the one on call. I probably would have been there in time to catch the baby, but then, I'm really glad the dad catch her, because they are Orthodox Jews and he isn't suppose to see his wife in any form of blood, but since no one was there in time, he had to catch the baby. How cool is that? I'm way glad it happened like it did.

Even if I missed it!

Two tests this week, and then some chance to catch up a little bit before the finals. I have a bit o' math coming in November as we start calculating dosages for medications. I think we will also learn to put in IVs and catheters. And I'm starting psych next week. Always something!
