continuing saga...

So, today I get home and find out that my husband and younger son were in a car crash today that totaled his truck! He was broadsided. He says the light was green. The other driver said the light was green. No one was hurt. Both cars are history.

We did not carry comprehensive insurance on his vehicle (almost 300,000 miles) so we are now trying to figure out what we can afford. He does not want to take out a loan. I'm not sure what we can afford. He wants another truck. I'm thinking new. He's thinking used. We'll see. Maybe a Nissan Frontier. Maybe.

So, can life be harder??? I'm just about at my person fill.

ARGH!!!!!

Oh, and I still feel badly that I screwed up seeing B today. We did talk for almost an hour, so that was good. He usually breaks down and crys over the phone with me, but in the end it's encouraging. He wants to get another chance, and for that, too, I pray.
