27 days to the first day of class

On this day in 1912 my Grandmother was born. I miss her.

Yesterday I was all set to run out to the campus and get my photo ID, but then I looked up where on the campus I needed to go to get this done, and read that I MUST be registered in a class before I could get the ID. Problem. I can't register for any classes because the nursing department has blocked all the registrations (due to the need for labs to be assigned for a couple of the classes first). So my options are to register for a bogus class so I can get an ID or wait.

I'm going to wait. Patiently. OK, where is it? How much longer 'til we get there????

The parking permits can't be purchased until I have a valid ID. Why this is so is beyond me. Who cares if I have an ID? Just sell the pass. Why does it matter if I have an ID if I want to pay money to park on campus. I mean, who else wants to park there anyway? Is there so much demand for parking they can't take money from ANYONE who wants a pass? And they have to have the license plate number and student number anyway. What's the big deal?

So my frustrations come from not having all this DONE already. And the parking passes for the parking deck are limited, so I want one asap. And they were supposed to go on sale tomorrow. But, I double checked the parking web page and they are not selling until the 6th, so I have a little more time to wait for the ND to get me registered.

I'm taking a deep breath.

So, nothing new to report. Just more waiting. :-)

I'll go and do my postpartum home visits and chill for a day. Maybe I'll take B to get his driver's behind-the-wheel test tomorrow.
