The Countdown

ONE BIG BABY

I love the photo the client from Thursday sent of the 11 pound, 3 ounce baby! If you look close enough you can see the 11 pounds! Gotta love it! Her name is Ellen.

Come to think of it, I think I TOOK this picture.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
28 days until the first day of re-entry into college! I guess I'm excited. Some days I still wonder if I've made the right decision? Is this always the way it is when we begin a new journey? Or is this a sign of 'maturity' knowing that when we make one choice, by default we are NOT making many, many other choices?
My goals today are to get some of the things off my list from Saturday. I have also begun a mental list of things I need to nursing school, other than, a schedule, books, id, parking pass. On this list I've put
1) nurse-y type things: scissors for clinicals (something NVCC gave as mandatory for their program) and
2) BP cuff (got three options there)
3) computer laptop (wondering if I should buy a new one or just use the ancient one from 4 years ago? They are lighter and cheaper now, and I might need one? Or maybe it's just a new gadget lust thing going on)
4) Nametag (you'd think they could send out a nice email with a really good list of this stuff on it!)
5) the other things I can't think of but I KNOW I'll need and it really bugs me that I can't think of them.
Okay, I'm not being very productive, so I'll run off to the school and drop off the financial aid forms and get a photo id made and while I'm there, I might as well check out the parking situation for Wednesday, when they go on sale. (why don't you people at GMU us the internet???)
