Parking

Yesterday I succeeded in getting my parking pass. It occurred to me today that I paid more for that pass than my parents paid for a whole semester of classes for me when I attended the college the first time. Yikes! Oh well, there is nothing to be done for it. =)

Today I received the first 3 books from my list and they are all new (even though I bought them via the used book part of Amazon). The only bummer part of it was that I met a lady yesterday in the parking line who, two years ago, took the same course that I'm currently beginning and she said some of the books they NEVER used. Bummer. Why require we buy them if we are not going to need to read any part of them? I don't get it.

Also, yesterday I found that I was registered for classes. They only grief I have is that the Thursday lab is from 4:30 to 6:50 and I need to be in Chantilly by 7! I'm thinking I will have to either change the class, change the practice time, or change the practice day. The third is the easiest and most likely option, imo. I'm floating the options in my mind and will make a decision soon. It was the ONLY thing I didn't want for the school year....A Thursday late afternoon lab. What can I say?
